I'm no developer by any means, but I am looking for a little help with an issue that I'm having after purchasing a FSX scenery add-on. About a week ago I had purchased Moscow City X and added it to my small collection of scenery add-on's in FSX. At first everything appeared to work fine, but...
Hello, I've been reading the install for the FSX SDK, but every time I try to access the SDK folder in Disc 1 my disc drive sounds like a cheap steam locomotive and will not open the SDK folder.
Hey, guys, I have just added an ILS system to my new airport and I receive errors when compiling it into FSX. The error says that there is an unnamed waypoint, but I have no idea where that is or even if it's the actual reason for the error.
Here is the error message:
Okay, I'll do it when the time comes.
Hey, I have noticed something, and I would like your comments.
I converted an aircraft to a static model, added it to FSX objects and then to my ADE, but after adding it to an airport and then compiling the airport to FSX, I don't see the plane. No...
I actually typed in the rest of the address to show "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes, but it tells me that there are noAI aircraft in that folder.
There are a LOT of AI aircraft in that folder.
Any ideas out there would be wonderful;)
Hi, everyone. I am a first time user of SAMM2.1 and I had a question for you.
When I open SAMM2, I can only navigate to C:/Program Files (86):/Microsoft Games:/Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and when I get there, there are no other folders to choose from and no aircraft, with the exception of...
Thanks for the tips, guys. Man, I just saw my hangar for the first time in fs. WOW was that cool! I can't wait to add beter textures to it. I had some trouble with some white on my texture showing up where I didn't want it. It was strange because it was showing from the inside. I don't...
Okay, everytime I try to use the imagetool it gets to 75% and an error shows up saying that "imagetool has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I went back a checked to see if my images were divisable by 2 and they are. What could be the problem?
One more thing...can you use more...
Well...I didn't have my placement correct. I was reading the error thqat was showing on the command prompt and I didn't scroll to the top. And by doing so I noticed that the degrees were wrong. I had longitude and latitude reversed. So...I did get it to show up in the game and I just...
Aer you kidding me?!?!?! HAHAHAHA!!!! I'll have to try that! Thanks!!!!
But what about the errors that I get when I try to remove the comment markers? (<!-- -->) Will that fix them as well? I'm just wondering before I return home to try that out. LOL!
Okay, now I've gotten the bglcomp to work but when I take out the comment markers (<!-- -->) as instructed I get more errors.
Here are the instructions that I'm following:
14. If you open the .XML file created by gmax with Notepad or another text editor, this is what it should look like...
Okay, for a second there I thought that I had out smarted the darn thing by moving the bglcomp.xml and my hangar files to a new folder that I mamed with only ONE word. I DID get MS-DOS to create a path to it but when I typed in bglcomp myhouse.xml I got this ERROR message:
Okay, I guess this is it. My computer won't allow me to create a path through any folder that has a "Space" between the words in the folder name, ie: ProgramspaceFiles. I can create a path through any single word named file or a file with two words with a "." that seperates them but that's all...

I think I've tried everything under the sun :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Okay, I was just talking to an IT guy that I use to work with and he said that I need to navigate through DOS by way of indevidual files so I tried it.

The problem is that every time I try "cd Program Files" it...
