    Oh man... this is not good... I gave it many tries by exactly replacing the lines in my test.asm with the modified versions (leaving the real4-part untouched.) But after about 10 seconds (the animation really shows up and moves) the FS crashes to desktop or sometimes it freezes for some seconds...

    A little update: I used the "[Options] --> HasNightMaps=1"-edit for MakeMDL to get my nightmap directly into the sim without using Tweaker II. Now the day-texture remains transparent, BUT the night-texture gets solid again. Seems as if the problem of night-transparents is not on the Tweaker's...

    Hehe, right... I was so happy about your Tweaker, because I was too stupid to add a nightmap in GMAX... but I really didn't try very hard. It's done with the ambient-layer, right?     Thank you for your quick reply. The reason, why I do this, is because I animate some car-traffic for EDHL in northern germany and like to see the headlights on the ground (but they have to be transparent, of course.) Here's a screenshot of my yesterday's result with the DXT3-trick: :)...
