I downloaded your aerotow (version 2008-02-26 23-53) today and it looks very promising.
But with the options "Fly left hand circles" and "Fly right hand circles" the TowPlane makes only one 180degree turn. After that it keeps on flying straight on.
I tried changing delay-times...
Yes, feel free to go ahead. By publicing what I had achieved back then I was hoping somebody would pop-in and get the "project" on a higher level. Because eventually I was not satisfied with the overall result (the "thermal" AI-flights are too instable when the wind-factor comes into the...
That's what I found out the hard way during my previous work on AI-gliders. Another approach to solve the "brrrr-problem" was to disable the AI-prop sound files. Then the AI-gliders were quiet and they flew. Unfortunately the AI-prop-engine planes became quiet as well. ;)
I don't know if it has anything to do with what you and Jim are examining, but I noticed that in the "interim" you sent me last week, changing the coord settings from decimal to DDM or back to decimal didn't change anything in the way the lan/lon was showing in the main middle grid (where...
Thanks in advance, Jon.
I had no luck with closing every unneeded program, cleaning system and registry, looking for .dll's with simular names on my system etc. I have no clue what to do next but to wait for your default one.
Thanks for looking at it. Too bad we can't think of anything that could cause the problem (yet).
By the way, a quote from my earlier post:
You must be a happy man. I can only use half of the SDE, and yet I am enthiousatic. Wait until I get full use over it. :)
Just to be sure: I see no drop down box when I select the runwaysurface.
By pressing the arrow up- or -down key or rotating the mousewheel, I get other surface-options, one at a time.
Is that what you mean, or am I missing something here.
Can you try it on the attached xml? It's a...
I opened an earlier made fs9-xml of a fictious airport with a runway which has a "water"-surface. The SDE reads "water" as an option oke.
But when I highlight the surface-attribute and scroll up and down the options, after I select "Unknown" and then try to scroll back up...
I did a search in the FSX compiler SDK and came up with the following objects that have a "altitude"-attribute (I left the objects concerning approaches out of the list).
First of all my compliments for all the work you have done so far. Build 2604 is the first version I downloaded and within 15 minutes I already felt familiair working with it.
Just two issues:
- When clicking on the "new"-button an error occured, saying a file called "New Please...
