After trying and trying, I move the whole folder containing Ground2k4 to another place, in this case to root C:/ and compile is possible again. When I move it to it's original place, the problem comes again.
I have been working with Ground2k4 without problems, until I try to make some Waterclass, and then when trying to compile it pops up an error message tellling: erreur générale d' exécution du processus "C:/-here is the route to my file-*.ASM" "C:/-here is the route to my file-*.BGL"...
Hi, let's take a chance to Ground2k4...with that, you first can exclude the airport polygon, and then with the "re-mesh" command, you can add little points with vertical elevation to your scenery in order to have a sloped hill and no necessary vertical sides of your mountains. :)
Well..after doing and testing sceneries with my trees, I have realized that if you have the sun in front of you and the tree in the middle, it may shines. Correct this effect with the gmax material in "specular color" setting it to black. So the image won´t be shinning...
BMP for Mapping and FSX
For mapping (in Gmax) you must use normal BMP (32 bits), and for FSX I use DDS BMP DXT5. To create the DDS files, it's better to use Imagetool from SDK SP2.
Thank you very much. I have tried with dot and comma, and now with FWTools 1.3.5. But still the same. So I think that the problem is with the Run_SDK_Tools. Because FSX KML makes the four files (SHX, XML, etc):
FSX KML 1.10 (Beta)
Thanks a lot!...I can´t find why I do not compile... :(
As soon as I double clik the "Run SDK Tools" the problem starts at DOS prompt. Saying that can´t find the specified route. Can you send me a print screen of your build option path please? Thanks in advance!
Well...didn´t work. I try to compile it manually, but when I drag and drop over the "Run_SDK_Tools" or the "BGLComp" I got no BGL file, and I can print and screen the attached screen with some data of the error.
Also I attach the KML file (In the ZIP), and here is the XML generated by...
Ground Polys Tiles
You can make few textures like tiles of your airport. Some people overlap the sides of each plane to exactly fit them each to other. In my case, I don´t need to do that, I only put them together with "0" of separation, moving planes, making zoom out and zoom...
Hi Timmo, but your night textures are in DDS format?...because still I can´t try with that format. I tried using BMP and Standard materials, and at night everything is OK. Also them coexisting with night FSX textures at same time and is OK.
