• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Crazy stuff, i think you are using the github version of the blender exporter? I almost never use collision. I dont think that it is that necessary unless you are making a heliport. I also think many people disabled the crash feature because of that horrible implemented "you crashed" screen. :)

    In the past it was also possible to cut grass with a occluder object, but that is a crazy job if you have a profile in the underground and not a 100% flat one. :D

    If you download directly from github as a .zip file you dont have to rezipp at all. Just use the downloaded zip. Go to blender addons install from file. :)

    The lod fix is included in 0.41.3 update to the latest version of the exporter pls.

    You have to copy the materials. The name of the materials has to be unique in every LOD. Then it gets properly exported.

    Are you rotating the texture in max with some kind of mapping? I just know it from blender the mapping node can scale and rotate the texture. But this transformation does not get exported to the sim. You have to directly rotate the uv's

    @PhysicsTeacher and for the others as a information :) actually i dont know if it is a bug or if it works as designed orignaly but if you have for example 4 collections with a model inside. every lod model shares the same material (with textures), then only the first lod has textures exported...
