• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Flickering Textures

Thanks for all your suggestions. Seems like moving the pivot points helped to solve the issue. Although I think, exporting working MSFS Glass Material is one of the weirdest things :D

    Flickering Textures

Hey there, I have a small problem. I'm using Blender 2.9 with Blender2MSFS Addon. I Have a building where curtains are behind a window. When i export it to MSFS, the curtains are flickering and i have no idea what's the problem. I've already tried to play around with the "Draw Order" parameter...

    Slow Dev Tools / SDK

With the latest Update (SU9) I experience a way faster Dev Mode 😍.

    Slow Dev Tools / SDK

Even reinstalling Game and SDK does not help. It slows my production heavily. Guess i wasted already hours for waiting (and crashing) in comparison to minutes of developing :(

    Slow Dev Tools / SDK

Sooooo annoying. Is this issue already known to Asobo? Slows my development so much. Almost 80% of my attempts to open or rebuild a project results in a FTD (Freeze to Death 😂) of MSFS.

    Slow Dev Tools / SDK

Unfortunately this doesn't help. I'm still hesitating to reinstall MSFS and the SDK because I'm using it not only for development but also for gaming :)

    Slow Dev Tools / SDK

Good morning everyone, since the latest SU8 and SDK 0.17.0 I am experiencing really bad performance. Rebuilding my small airport Scenery takes now over 3 Minutes without changing anything on the scenery itself. Before the update to SU8 and SDK 0.17 it was around 30 seconds. Really anoying to...

MSFS Blender cloth simulation baked to bones

At least I've managed to add several NLAs to the armature of the windsock and bind them to the wind velocity :) But the rest is awful! No idea where the strange distortions come from and why the windsock is rotated this way Here is a screenshot from what i exported:

MSFS Blender cloth simulation baked to bones

Looks like you forgot to set the the "Pin Group" inside your Cloth settings. You can find it under "Cloth Modifier --> Shape --> Pin Group".

MSFS Blender cloth simulation baked to bones

Hey there, with the help of the first posts in this thread of @Mikea.at I've managed it to successfully import my first animation to MSFS :) Thanks for that! As a next step, i want to create a separate animation depending on the current windspeed. The xml stuff is totally clear for me. But i...
