Hello I was working on a Ground Polygon and without knowing it, I made a big crazy model
I was in TOP ortho view so it didn't appear when I was editing, 4 hours of work non-stop is just gone :(
is there a way to flatten my model? to put every vortex in the scene to position z = 0
i'm working on an update to an airport that has a Ground polygon
the GP has been made by someone and he probably compiled it with SCASM as he used MCX for that and he used the fsx format
so my update now works with PBR materials and i wanna get my GP to be on top of his GP
Maybe this could be very easy solution to some of you, but I really need your help, if possible.
I have created .bgl file of the volumetric grass I need for my airport. It fits almost perfect in some areas.

whats the best way to design runway markings and curved taxi lines on sketchup? I can make aprons and import them into the sim without no problems now, thank good I am making some progress but I am having trouble with making actual markings. I really dont understand how .dds works i seen...
I made a ground polygon using Sketchup and I got few several problems. I can place it correctly without no problems at the location I want but what my main problem is that at the end the GP extends and flickers which makes it look very bad. I dont know if I have any mistakes while...
Hi guys (beware: noob at work! :banghead:),
I keept searching for this question and found some older threads that not all GP layers will cast shadows. Unfortunately placing my GP on layers from 16 to 24 did not fix this. I still can't see any shadows on my custom ground polygons.
I created the ground of my airport in Blender. You can see this "Mesh" in MCX here:
Later on I imported it as a Library Object into ADE and then I saw that the Mesh was flickering in FSX.
So, how can I use my Mesh as a normal ground?
And my second problem...
