• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If I click continue on the error message, I'm anyway unable to perform any operation.
May you please help?
This is on W10 last update 20H2.

I also get this on startup:

BTW, is there any way to revert to an older version of AIFP? Of course, I can backup the previous install, but I didn't this time.

Thanks in advance

The key is in the First line - "File not found". It would help if you also told me which version of AIFP you are using and what you were doing at the time. (It appears from the info in the message AIFP was closing down. If so this is the last instruction to be executed and the only effect will be that you lose any update to any options you might have made during the session.)

On the chance that you are using the new general release, this issue would never have arisen on my system. You may be able to correct it by copying all the .dlls from the new DLL sub-folder back into your main AIFP folder. Please let me know if this resolves the issue. If it doesn't and I can't fix it quickly, I'll repost the development release.

Hi and thanks for your fast reply.

Copying all the DLLs from the DLL subfolder to the main AIFP folder did the trick.
(In the title I've stated that the issue arises on 3.4.3)

Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I acknowledge the 3.4.3 in the title of the post. Perhaps I should pay more attention to the titles (which, usually are of a general nature or not helpful at all.

I'll try to post an update later today.
