ADE Version 1.76.6715

• Fixed Display problem in 1.76.6704 which cut off right side of main window
• Fixed FS9 library object issue where changing properties caused the object GUID to change
• Fixed library object detailed footprint issue
• Added Most Recent Version Check in Help Menu

This update will be offered in ADE if you Check for Update. There is also a non installer update available and a non installer revert patch to 1.76.6704 if you run into problems

Please note that this should only be used if the new update shows a critical bug. It should get you back to 1.76.6704. To use it you need to be sure to overwrite all files that are offered since this patch is loading back older versions of these files.

Looks like the same issue that has been reported about the ProKey. This may be because your OS has blocked this file although I am not sure why it is OK in the older version. That file should be in the plugin folder. Please Right Click on it and select Properties. Check under the section for Attributes and see if there is anything about blocking. If there is then unblock it.

I just had the same issue, but with the aforenamed prokey.dll. Clicking Properties shows "This file may come from another computer and may have been blocked to protect the computer." Ticking "Unblock" results in ADE 175 version 6715 starting correctly. Win 10 Pro 64.

It is going to be a pain for some folks for a bit. I will add something to the next update but in the end it is the OS and the .NET programming framework making sure you trust these files.

I unblocked both dll files just to be safe.

I to am having the same problem. I Ticked "Unblock" but still have the same problem.
I'll try reloading ADE175 and hope the problem goes away.

Reloaded program and now back in business .

For those of you who are experiencing this problem with multiple files you can try unzipping the attached and adding the config file into the main ADE folder. Do this only if you have this problem!

It also worked if you unblock all the DLLs in the plugins folder. You don't need the config file then...Windows 10 64.

Здравствуйте. Извините что пишу по русский, английский я к сожалению не знаю. У меня когда открываю сцену в редакторе нет здании в аэропорту. Рулежки, стоянки, перроны и пр. отображаются без проблем, а зданий нет. Загружаю эту же сцену в симулятор без проблем всё на месте, а в редакторе нет зданий. Для примера прилагаю сцену в которой нету зданий в редакторе. Так происходит во всех не дефолтных сценах. Симулятор у меня FSX+Разгон. Windows 7.

Здравствуйте means 'Hello' and he apologizes for writing it in Russian as he does not understand English, Jon.
Using ADE, he has no buildings and is working in FSX Acceleration.
Tell him in Russian that he should heed the instructions in the .txt file to download the object files that are necessary for this scenery.
Good luck and maybe you/we should also have a website for ADE in Cyrillic?

I have a previous version, Application 01.60.5095.27335, Engine 04.60.5095.25415 and when I ask to check for new versions the ADE tells me "my software is up to date".
As I'm an home user, the version I have seems ok to me but I'd like to know if it's better for me to install the latest version. I've downloaded (ADE_175_Production_Full_Installer.zip). If you recommend this update, I read somewhere here I have first to unninstall the version I have. I'd like to know how to do that because I have some questions:

- When I unninstall my version I will lost the work I've done? The folders like "work" or "FS9" will be deleted?
- Do I need to update BGLcomp too? And some another thing?

I apologize if these questions are answerd somewhere. I looked all around and didn't find then. So if you could, indicate, please, where.

Hi,

You do not have to uninstall version 1.60 to install version 1.75. I have both on my computer and both work fine.

The major difference between the two is that 1.75 will display the actual shape of the generic buildings and library objects on the ADE screen. The down side is that it takes a long time for ADE to load an airport, unless you have either loaded it before or download the shape database.
