• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello Everyone,

I've been working on Adelaide's next update for a little while now and still have more to go. Below I've attached a few previews so you can see how everything is coming along. Few of the major changes to note are;

The Terminal and Gates have been redone with higher resolution textures

Adjusted the runway lighting so now the PAPI on 23 is in the correct orientation and the displaced threshold is shown on 05.

Animated Runway Guard lights.

Hope you guys like... Seems to be running slightly faster too :)

Enjoy your weekend

Aaron

*Same for P3D too

Has anything been done to make the scenery more frame rate friendly? I had to remove it from my system as my 3.90 GHz i7-4770 just couldn't cope. I have the same problem with airports done by Orbx's Martin Henare.

Hello Mike,

Yes, I have included the option to install a separate version which runs faster with reduced scenery complexity around the perimeter. Should fix your problem :)

Regards

Aaron

G'Day AUscene,

I am sure you get these all the time, I do apologise, but it is expected with the quality of your products. FSX traffic is building up in Australia and a lot of us are devastated that there is no perth airport scenery, which is one of the last major airports to be payware. We would pay good money for a Perth airport scenery, as currently all scenery is out dated, I am not begging you, just asking you to consider doing perth in the future

Who are you speaking for? Could you supply a list?

Or are you to ashamed to say "me" and "I"?

Tbh, I find that quite rude, I am speaking on behalf of the community, I dont see anyone complaining about the payware airports that have been developed, whether it is in their country or not, we buy it for the quality

Hello Jacob,

Thanks for contacting me, I agree with you about Perth and actually quite a few people have asked.

Just slowly looking into all the changes at the airport and if everything goes well I'll start development next year.

Expect something like Adelaide.
