Hi. Hoping that someone here can help me.
I have created a simple flight plan for an ai helicopter to fly between 2 heliports app. 7 miles apart. The FP altitude is set to 500 ft (assume this is AGL, the heliports are 400 ft MSL). Also made a plan using 1000 ft as the altitude to see if there was any difference. Is the FP altitude AGL or MSL?
The helicopters take off and land as expected but cruise at app. 2,400 ft, which is 2000 ft AGL, despite the fact that I have the FP altitude set much lower. Is 2000 ft the minimum AI cruise altitude?
Also, is there any way to have the AI fly directly to an airport instead of executing a long, curved approach maneuver which takes it many miles away from the airport?
Thanks for your help.
Dave
