FSXA AI Parking Offsets

Has anyone prepared a list of aircraft parking offsets for fsx? I have searched and searched for one and can't find one. If anyone has offsets for small, medium, and large tube planes, I would like to have a copy.
Thanks

One size does not fit all.

If you set up the offsets for the planes you fly that does not always hold true for the same type plane if it is a AI. Modelers do not use a standard for the distance forward for the nose gear.

I fly the default B737-800 so for a small gate I use T1 26.00ft T2 40.00ft. The 26 gets some of the Airbus's and the 40 gets some of the Boeings but that depends on who made the plane.

Thanks Jim. After a few days of waiting I started my own research. I went to airports I knew were stock and looked at the parks for GA Small, Medium, Large and for gates Small, Medium and heavy. I did some measuring and some trial and error. This is for the Offsets only, keep the stock dia. for the park. The results were as follows:

Small GA Ramp
T1-2.7

Medium GA Ramp
T1-6.14

Large GA Ramp
T1-13.0

Gate Small and Medium (Keep the stock dia.)
T1-26.0
T2-34.0
T3-40.0
T4-43.0

Gate Heavy
T1-43.0
T2-64.0
T3-78.0
T4-82.0

By the way .... One can learn a lot just from studying airports like KMEM, Memphis, Tn and the Atlanta Ga airport.

Thanks

To go along with the above are the exits for some AI Aircraft. This values should be copied and pasted into the aircraft.cfg of the aircraft AFTER the effects heading. Foir instance ..... for the MD80 you would copy the following, It only has one exit.

[exits]
number_of_exits = 1
exit.0 = 0.4, -18.0, -5.5, 4.5, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

737

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4, 36.6, -5.0, 3.0, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.1 = 0.4, -38.5, 4.5, -3.0, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.2 = 0.4, 33.5, 3.5, -4.0, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

747

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4, -30.30, -9.0, 0.88,0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.1 = 0.4, -146.0, 8.0, -7.5, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.2 = 0.4, -42.30, 9.0, -7, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

Airbus 321

exit.2 = 0.4, 29.90, 6.0, 1.0, 2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

This is good

What we can do is fill in these offsets as part of the ADE parking spot. Then if someone wants to increase or decrease they can. At least we have got them out from under the airplane.

We'll ask Jon to include them in the beta.

I just added a B738 exit location for the Jetways
