In my attempt to learn something new (AI Traffic), I have come up against a wall.
I modified a stock FSX airport (UT25 - Monument Valley) using ADE. I added start locations, GA parking spots, taxiways, and a hold short node.
Then I created 3 flight plans, using AI Flight Planner, to have 3 planes come into UT25.
Then I sat back to watch the show. Right on schedule, the 3 planes landed and taxied to the 3 parking spots - just like they were suppose to.
As I watched Traffic Tools Explorer, all three planes, at their scheduled departure times, came out of sleep mode, did the preflight, got clearance, and then disappeared.
As a test, I did another flight plan from another a/p into the return a/p to make sure it had proper parking spots and taxiways. That flight worked, so I assume the other return airport is not the problem.
Since AI planes DID land and taxi to parking spots, I assume that my UT25 airport is correctly done. The flight plan is a simple "go out and back" - not real complicated (plus the test F/P from the other A/P worked), so I don't think the flight plan is the problem.
So what obvious mistake does a beginner make that would cause the planes to disappear instead of taxiing out and taking off?
TIA
