• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Ai Taxi speed in Windows 7....stumped

Hello all....just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have noticed; First, let me lay out the details: FS9, windows7, and lots of ai addons. When I had Vista, my primary means of adjusting the ai taxi/runway taxi speed was through a utility provided with my (outdated but still functioning) Traffic 2005. Then, when I upgraded to Windows 7, the tool no longer has any effect. I have searched and read everything on the topic I could find, but was unable to come up with a solution.

....But one post mentioned swapping out the ai_player.dll for a modified one that has adjusted speeds. Now it just happens that before I upgraded my OS, I made backups of a lot of my fs files, modules included. So, would there be any damage done if I was to 'swap' that particular module from my backups to the new OS setup? I have read a lot of posts about dll errors with that module, and don't want to upset anything.....thanks in advance!

Well I don't know why something that worked in Vista, wouldn't work in w7.

The only other thing I know of is, fs9cfg16.zip, from someplace like the Avsim library.

After a new install of Windows and/or FS9 did you run the FS91upd_patch.exe file.
