• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS Airbus A340-600 for MSFS (freeware > no pay) Modelling, Coding, Information (Very early Stage)

Hey everyone,
Recently i started 3D-modeling an a340-600 for fun and spent some time on it since then because it's quite fun to do. I have limited experience so i got some problems now. Firstly the landing gear, because it's an airliner it's not that easy, but i would like it to look really good. Secondly the engines (incl. the part which is holding them under the wings). These are also rather complicated to model if it's supposed to look good. In general modelling would of course be faster if more people are helping. For coding we only have only one person, which is not enough for a project this big. This project will still take much time, because it's an airliner and right now we are 3 people of which only two worked on it yet (Me modelling + the other person coding). When it is finished at some point we would like to publish it as a freeware aircraft because it's a hobby and we think it should be fun rather than bring in money. If you're interested and an experienced modeler, feel free to dm me here in the forum or join our discord ( https://discord.gg/NR2aNJsrMD ) and i will give further information what possible tasks would be. Also a person who knows about the systems of the A340-600 in detail would be helpful, but we got some information already, but help in that way is also wanted. We are aiming to make it as realistic as we possibly can, but we wont set our goal too high, so we cant reach it.

-Open Time frame
-Freeware -> no pay for you or anyone else on the team

Important: We are looking for people who are seriously interested, we want to have fun creating an aircraft for the community. If you troll or message me when you're not really interest it just ruins the fun.
