• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

We should have a label on the thread to indicate which one is:
Project on Progress.
Project on Hold.
Project Abandoned.
So the users can see and no more questions asked.

It was a kinda Press event where airbus delivered the first A350 to launch customer Qatar Airways. At this event they simply said to the guest, let's take a ride. So these people clap because they're exited about flying this plane for the first time ;)

Also, no Beta-test is planned yet Marc but when the time comes I'll ask people if they would like to participate in the testing....

And she's still functioning in FSX:

Although I need to comment on that for a couple of reasons.
First off it looks like a childs toy, I'm sorry for that, but I'm following the blueprints... where it went wrong I don't know...
Second off the glass went totally trasparent, something I didn't want to happen....
And third, why am I in slew mode? Well dispite me setting the correct CG height she still sinks in to the ground....
How do you set the glossy/shiny material for the aircraft? It looks amazing.

Great to see it returned from the grave... If you should ever decide to put it back in the grave then release it as least as static or AI model - it's really great modelling and it would be a pitty if it just dies.

I will do that Henrik, the thing is (as you can read in my banner) I am a student so it will "go into a coma" every once in a while and that is something I cannot avoid.
Other then that, thank you! I do my best to make the aircraft as accurate as possible given my limited access to documentation.

Thanks for kind words,
And thank you Antaris and Marc, ofcourse I do prioritize my studies but the enthusiasm for aviation is not beaten at all (if I ever manage to combine my love for aviation with my interest in economics I'd probably not shut up for a few hours at a time). So whenever I find the time I am working on it, though it is harder when you have no background in engineering at all

So at this moment nothing more then some basic textures to see if it's all okay. My aim is to test it in the sim this weekend. For now though, nothing real with textures planned yet, have to make a plan for it. That also means the whole black area around the cockpit windows won't be visible for the forseeable future.

my suggestion for the body texture, divide fuselage texture into 3 or 4 texture, 1 texture for vertical and horizontal stabilizer, and 1-2 texture for wing stuff.

Actually what you are looking at are the basic textures for the fuselage and vertical + horizontal stabilizer(s). Albight I'm thinking about changing the layout a little bit, it shouldn't change the way it looks. The only thing I haven't thought of is that I maximized it for the -900 variant now, so a future -1000 variant might be problematic... I will have to still fix this but all will be well I think.
