Hi,
I've seen threads about aircraft floating above the runway at various non default airports and various people are being blamed for it. I'm making a sloping airport for Aberdeen International EGPD and have successfully worked out a method to do this. Everything works perfectly with my test runways set with a surface (concrete asphalt etc.) so that I can see where everything is placed. Aircraft wheels on are pefectly placed on the surface. I need to make the runway transparent to show high definition photo scenery beneath, but when I tick the transparent box, or make the taxiways not show a surface, the wheels of the aircraft float about 6" above the ground. It doesn't matter whether the underlying surface is the natural default terrain, or a flat/sloped polygon. Is this a P3dv5 problem or ADE? or my error? Thanks very much for help with a solution.
