airport on 3 foot Plateau

In default scenery there is no plateau but after using sbuilderx and making a AB aiport boundery it puts the airport on a 3 foot Plateau. The boundary height is set at 0 feet. Is this correct or should i set at different height. Also settings heights in Sbuilders is a far cry from the Heights that FSX reports. Is there a formula that converts FSX feet to Sbuilder Feet. One more thing is settings of O feet in Sbuilder mean no height adjustment

Thanks for help

Hello,

In SBuilderX units of measurements are meters. You must give the polygon the altitude of the airport. You can use the Real altitude seen on airport charts or you can take the altitude from the sim.

1 feet = 0.3048 meters

Kind Regards,

Luis

Hello

If the runway (which is allways flat) goes under the ground, then you need to place a flatten or, if you placed one, it is not working. I am not sure if I followed your description of the problem.

Kind regards,

Also you need to make sure the altitude of your flatten is the same as the altitude specified in the XML file that defines the runway.
