Apparently airport fuel trucks are only allowed to travel a certain distance. I am working on this one airport where the passenger terminal is at the one end of the runway and the general aviation area is on the other.
I positioned my fuel trucks close the passenger apron, because that is where they are supposed to be in real life. I also designed vehicle roads to link the two areas to one another. No problem refuelling the jets on the passenger apron, but when I requested refuel from the general aviation area, the fuel truck would only drove half way to the general aviation area and then stop. I tried everything to resolve the situation. Even designing "invisible" roads linking the parking bays... Nothing would work.
Eventually and out of pure desperation, I decided to place another fuel parking bay smack in the middle of the general aviation area and it SOLVED the problem!
I therefore hope that this tip will be of help to someone out there!
