• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Sneak Peek!

Introducing Aldinga Airfield (YADG) for MSFS.

Located in the heart of the McLaren Vale Wine region, Aldinga Airfield is the perfect gateway to other areas of South Australia including Kangaroo Island and the Eyre Peninsula.

Aldinga is the first of two airports that we currently have in development, be sure to stay tuned for more previews and the next "guess the airport" competition over at our Facebook page.

Will post more soon as we continue development :)

Thanks for the replies, I’ll post some more previews soon :)

With the Adelaide region airfields covered, could you consider doing a Kangaroo Island airport too? Would be a nice trip!
Could be possible in the future if we have enough sources, however for the the short term we’ll be working on YADG and another Australian airport which we’ll probably announce in 2 weeks or so.

That's good to hear. I'm a pure GA flyer so for me sometimes it's difficult to find interesting routes to fly between two good looking airports less than say 60-90 minutes apart from each other, especially in a huge country like Australia. Your Uluru airport scenery looks fantastic but for me there's nothing close by to fly to, while the route from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island could be manageable in one of the faster GA aircraft. So I'm patiently waiting for your future announcements. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Amazing work! I have had a coffee and watched planes doing touch and goes a few times sitting on that porch. You have really nailed it! The first time I ever visited the airport their Tigermoth and Waco were just sitting on that grass right next to the porch. I had a joyflight in the yellow Tigermoth, which was actually the second time I ever flew, after the flight from Melbourne to Adelaide.

It may very well have been me who took you up in the Tiger!

Could have been. It was the chief pilot from memory. It was back in 2010 (seems like just yesterday though). I also had a lesson/trial flight just after Christmas 2019 in the C172 out of Aldinga. Both flights were awesome fun. I was meaning to get some more lessons last year back in Melbourne, but then Covid hit.

Impressive! It's a shame how people dash through that beautiful landscape on their way to Kangaroo Island - the region there is one of the nicest on earth.
