Looking at the SimConnect SDK docs, specifically those for the simulation variables, I am trying to determine which of the many ALTITUDE variables will give me the altitude of a plane slated to standard pressure (29.92/1013.2). My understand of the following altitudes is given below:
Thanks,
- "PLANE ALTITUDE" - the altitude the simulator knows the plane to be at. Is that in any way related to pressure?
- "INDICATED ALTITUDE" - the altitude the pilot would see in the cockpit with reference to altimeter setting the pilot has set
- "PRESSURE ALTITUDE" - the altitude referenced to standard pressure
Thanks,
