• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS Apron textures LOD to pink

Hey guys since the latest game update I've noticed some of my apron textures are turning pink when far enough away. Has anyone else expirenced this? Seems to be both base game and custom textures but only affecting rectangle aprons. any help would be appriciated.

Hi. Superspud and I discovered the same issue a few days ago and posted. No solutions offered at the mo I'm afraid. At least it's not just us!

Ah. We are not alone after all.

For us this was RAF Valley and it wasn't rectangles. I also was tweaking another airport and it happened the moment I changed the texture.

I've never seen it before these instances and there's certainly nothing different about the aprons themselves.

Does this happen with the DevMode disabled and the compiled package in the Community folder?

This has been reported by several people who've downloaded Valley and I'm sure many of them have never touched developer mode. It's something innate to the sim rather than one install.

Hey all, @hoynedawg I saw your posts as well on devsupport. Still trying to work around this. Have you maybe by any slim chance solved or worked around this? Apparently Asobo knows and is trying to fix.

It appends for me when a developer add a texture in his scenery and named it with a asobo name. His texture overlap the asobo one. But I dont have his texture so the sim display pink apron.
