• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Arlanda, Stockholm

Like so many others already said, this scenery is looking really amazing and the fact that it will be offered as freeware is an incredible nice gesture of you!! Will though be more than happy to donate a fair "price" once the scenery is released via Paypal or similar service.

Can't even keep track of all times I've lobbed for a new and fresh ESSA scenery in most developers forums telling them the interest is huge within the community and with lots of traffic looking at the online networks but sadly their interest so far has been very modest.

So...if you will be able to come up with a new ESSA that will be close to or even match real payware scenery products that would be nothing short of amazing not to mention how welcomed it would be from the whole community so thank you so much in advance for doing this and for all the time and effort you put into the project!!

Well said there Richard!

Instämmer helt! ;)

Looking really good, I think you heard this a couple of times before but can't wait for this scenery...in a very positive way...:)

I can't help thinking of for how long the flight simulator community has been waiting for a up-to-date version of Arlanda and what you develop here sure seems to fill out that void 100% !

Should Aerosoft (or some of the other developers who so far have shown zero interest in a new Arlanda) start showing any interest in your upcoming product make sure they will have to pay you guys A LOT before they are allowed to even come close to what you've done so far.

Quote from Voyage, he posted this at the 4th of June last year:

regarding aerosoft we have been talking and we will be assisted in some important ways. however the aerial photos are licensed to arlanda and were kindly given to us for this project and the person responsible for PR took us around the airport for some hours to get us the footage needed. this was a few years ago though, the project ended up on hold for some different reasons and nowadays we have guys working airside that gives us the images needed. so there is a lot of people that has been assisting the project for free and our deal with arlanda was to keep it freeware so that's the boundaries of the project right now. might change with time and if we engage in another project that will probably be payware if its the same size. i haven't talked to aerosoft regarding AES but i will do what i can do to make that happen and wish ofcourse that our collaboration with aerosoft will help us with that.
the scenery will ofcourse have an intense winter season, how it will be is yet to see. i love what they did with helsinki, let's see what we can do.

Ok, that's interesting information and like I said in my previous post I do hope these guys will make sure to get themselves a good deal with Aerosoft if this turns out to be a payware scenery with Aerosoft being the publisher.

Hey guys. Thanks for the support ones more! Just to be super clear: it will be a freeware , I will set up a paypal donation option though if people want to show some love.

Will you guys include the hill close to 19L where people can watch aircraft take off and land on 19L?

I asked about this years ago over in Aerosoft's forum and I also attached a couple of pictures what it looks like IRL. That thread can be found here.
