• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS Avions Statiques MSFS 2020

Bonjour

Cordialement

To find and add static aircraft into your scenery, you can do the following.

- Look for an existing airplane model on sites like sketchfab, turbosquid or cgtrader. For example, on sketchfab (which I like the most because it has 3D previews in the browser) you can filter by "Downloadable" and any of the "CC" licenses (Creative Commons, i.e. free), and I find this one:

- First, make sure the license that comes with this model allows you to include it in your project. Most of the free CC ones will let you use it if you credit the author, so make sure you put the appropriate information in the Readme/documentation of your project.
- Download the 3D model, and if there's no .blend file you can get the .obj file.
- Open or import this file in Blender, modify as needed, and use the exporter to export the object into your MSFS project.

If these last two points are a mystery to you, you'll need to read other threads here about how to setup Blender 3.3 with the latest MSFS exporter in order to create and export objects into MSFS.

Hello and thank you for your message.
the problem is that I want to put on my stage a plane which is part of my library and which is not available in the static planes existing on the market.
What it the format of your library?
If the library is from another SIM other than msfs, you need to extract the models from there.
according that you have the permissions from the library original creator, modelconverterx can help.
Then, you need to make a insert the extracted models in a library (modelLib) compatible with msfs.
