• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

After 2 years off the FS grid due to being forced to move to Australia and Dad's kidney transplant I'm finally back in the FS world.

I've been so thankful for the FS community over the last 25 years and it's good to see so much innovation still happening even 7 years after the release of FSX.

I hope I can contribute more to the FS community in coming weeks months and years and am just so thankful for the support of everyone in the FS community in recent weeks as I considered whether to get back into flight simulation and lessen my involvement in the film/tv world (which is shrinking rapidly).

In short, I'm so glad to be back. My wife is now settled in Australia and finally moving on her own career path which also frees me up to do what I'm passionate about.

So I just wanted to say I'm back and excited to reconnect with everyone.

Cheers,
Deano.

Thanks guys, it's good to be back.

It's amazing how one log jam being removed can cause other design blockages to be freed up.

Thank you to everyone here (via facebook) who encouraged me to dive back in. For over 2 years answers to major design blockages have plagued me and always at the back of my mind I've been thinking how to solve them.

This last two weeks I've been able to overcome all that and I can't wait to post photos of the end results. :)
