• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum

FSXA Basic Questions about creating AI Traffic

Hi all,

I have painted some fictional liveries for my airline fleet in FSX and would also like to see the new liveries flying around and being present at the airports.

Here come my questions:
1) how can I create AI flight plans and use this particular self made liveries for the AI trafic?
2) I have build a new airport in FSX with ADEX and would like to have AI traffic around as well, how can I achieve that?

You see I am a complete newbie to AI traffic, so I would be glad to receive your helping comments.

best regards
AI Flight planner have a lot of funcionalities that cover all those issues, I use the program to make very simple routes for one aircraft in special, as simple as you open AIFP, /flight plans/open Fp editor/Aircraft/load new aircraft (and you choose an aircraft of you choice) / then make the flight plan for this aircraft. but this program is a lot more, so I think you have a little of reading forward , to have airplane in you airport look in Ai webs for airlines which land in that aiport, and install, if I remember well you have WOA (world of AI), Pai proyect, MAIW (for military traffic, great quality, like all) you will not be desappointed. You have to learn to install those AI aircraft, and make flight plans for your own airplanes, and many more things.

aereo, as Bernardo suggested, you've got some "learning" to do. (We all had to go through that.)

A good place to start is the TTools user manual (now available from the AIFP page of http://stuff4fs.com ).

As well, there are several popular sites from which you can obtain prepared flight plan packages, such as Alpha India Group, Military AI Works and World of AI. All those sites have their own forums. But, while using the packges available from these sites can avoid you having to create your own AI flight plans, an understanding of AI operation (and the related pitfalls) is still necessary. (Once you've got a good grounding, this forum can help you avoid the pitfalls.)
