• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello

Click on the modeling tab and then the N key.

To Export (after placing the textures in their corresponding slots), is by clicking the 'File' tab -> 'Export' -> 'DirectX for P3D/FSX(.x/mdl).'

Thank you for quick and kind reply.
But on:
Modelling, and taping N, i don't see the label on the right...
Neither on File, export, there is Direct X...
I'm quite new with blender.
Actually i'm using it on exported file from 3ds 2011. With this, is not possible to get friendly name and guid...
Version of blender is 3.1, and plugins is 0.9.5
Installing the plugins, are marked as ok :(

Wrong plug-in or add-on you need this one:

I found blender 2.79 and with that, sdk 0.95 shows all its beauty, inside the program.
Now i need to become familiar with blender.
Thanks a lot.
Good comunity ;)

Hi.
Installing once again everything, on O.S. Win10 is working:

. Blender 2.79 x86
. Prepar3d SDK v.3
. Plugin blender2FSX 0.95

Hi sir,
It is for FSX.
My wish is to build up my own town.
And, maybe also the town of prague.
I started them for fs2004, using program Apt, using generic buildings.
In case i succed in this, i can even share the 3dsmax or builder files for other sims.
I want to improve...
I become crazy creating sceneries :)
Is relaxing and exciting to me

You should use only the P3D SDK v1.4 for FSX/ FSX: SE. Remove the P3D SDK v3. You will run into problems using it if you don't remove it.

I really thank you.
I'm a beginner in exporting sceneries to fsx.
Prepar3d sdk v.3 is working also in 3ds2011, seems...

I'll try also what you suggested to me for blender, and let you know ;)
Seems plugin 0.95 should work, but up to now, i didn't export nothing yet...

I found really kind people, here :)
Finally!

Hello pyscen.
Up to now, blender 2.79 and sdk v1.4 are able to create .x file and .bgl file, starting from blender file.
Converting to .mdl file, it works, i mean they are not empty like with 3dsmax and some plugings...
Big jump for mankind!
