Call for ADE 2020 Alpha Testers

Willing to test here. Currently also testing the early stages of AIG's AI Manager in MSFS, so testing parking spots and radius sizes within the sim would certainly go hand in hand.

Hi Jon, I'd be interested in joining any alpha testing. I've used ADE quite a bit in the P3D world. I've got a basic familiarity with the MSFS2020 SDK. I've added objects (hangars, control towers, etc.) to existing airports, created polygons used for excludes and some terraforming with the MSFS2020 SDK. Would love to help test if needed.

I'm still using it and I suspect will be for some years (FSX).

Sorry Chris, may be I used 'legacy' in the wrong meaning (English is not my native language). Yor are right, FSX and P3D are still alive and will be as long MSFS does't provide allfeatures FSX and its predecessors have since decades.

Thanks to everyone who put their name forward for Alpha One and were not included. We are now at a point (alpha 7) where we need more testers. I am asking those who indicated an interest last time and any new people to reply to this post. We need people who

• Are experienced with ADE.
• Have worked with and are familiar with the MSFS 2020 SDK and tools
• Have the time to work with us.

We are also particularly interested if you are using the Steam or DVD versions of MSFS 2020.

Hi Chris, at the moment I'm still with FSX as well. However, the pressure of some friends who already are using MSFS 2020 is quite high. We have online meetings each week and they want to use their new toy. Actually, the air becomes thinner as some birds I bought a while ago (having their roots in FS9 and adapted to FSX) are refusing to work.

I would be available as an alpha tester for ADE. I made about 20 small austrian airports for P3Dv4 with ADE, and I would like to transfer it for MSFS with the new ADE, because I tried it wit the SDK but there should be a better way to do it!

And I am permanently disabled after 22 yeah career in Corporate / Enterprise IT, so I have time AND boredom 😋
