Category:Panel & Gauge Design

#3
Hi Folks

Bill -
It's not MST's fault.

The post is a result of
clicking the Discussion tab link on the wiki page.

It should be taking users
from the wiki page
to the existing discussion
relating to the wiki article

There's something odd going on with the wiki/forum interaction,
as clicking that Discussion tab link
is currently generating unique entries.

EDIT -
From clicking the link in the O/P,
takes you to wiki article "Category:panel".

Guessing someone incorrectly renamed the category
to include an ampersand, (rather than 'and')
i.e. Panel & Gauge Design
which the databse recorded as -
Panel_%26_Gauge_Design
and the database isn't handling that correctly.

It seems there is something weird with that category indeed. I deleted the empty discussion threads now, but maybe we better rename this category?

I see what you mean... Maybe remove the "Discussion" tab completely? It seems a bit pointless, actually. ;)

The idea of the discussion tab is that you can discuss the content of the article, for example if you want to make changes. But since we already have a forum it is always a bit difficult which discussion goes where.

I have disabled the link from the discussion tab to the forum now, but you still get the default discussion page of the Wiki. I might look later how to disable that as well.
