• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

That means that you should not be a downer, and not make it harder on people with a bad attitude. Also, that you try to keep it positive and look on the bright side.

Aka "I've worked a hundred hours, but can't get paid yet but hey, things could be worse, right?!" and "That milestone goal is unrealistic, but I'll just work extra hours to give my best!".

Goals and ambitions are okay, but setting unrealistic standards and forcing everybody to be Smiley Mc Happyface from 9 to 5 does not even work in the real working world.

Oh, I am sorry you feel that way. We know that we can not always be smiley and happy, but we want all staff to try their best to be.

Can I ask what your background is in terms of actually creating content for the sim? This sort of reads like a VA start-up.

My background is making textures for add-on scenery, creating the 3D objects, and working with ADE a little bit. No this is not a start up va, it is a startup scenery development company!

I understand that it is not a VA start-up. From your Facebook page..."We Develop High Quality Study Level Simulation Add-On's For Microsoft Flight Simulator And Lockheed Martin Prepar3D". Study level scenery?

Hm, thanks for pointing that out! I’ll get with the community manager and point it out to him! Thank you!

So I look at your Facebook page again just now, and the logos are changed, but it still shows pictures of an airliner cockpit that implies you are making a plane.
What are the odds that the "Community Manager" and the "Contracts Director" are in fact you?
For a long time I have avoided these sort of posts, but in this case I made an exception. Prospective employees are encouraged to be cautious and research this group before committing to anything.

There's nothing wrong in looking for companions to do projects with, but leave the modern business lingo and application BS be and recruit by example, i.e. doing some actual work like modeling or gauges or flight dynamics instead of posting from a very useless "community/contracts/HR manager" position. Development teams grow from bottom to top, not the other way round.

I’m so sorry you feel that way. If you have nothing positive to contribute, please keep it to your self! I really don’t care what your “opinion” is on something of this nature. If you don’t like they way we put our offers out, and the title we give to our staff, than you have no business commenting nor contributing to us. Thank you for reviewing the post.

We understand that. Thank you for reviewing our company. Our community manager is not me. I am the webmaster/contracts director. If you would like to contact the community manager, you can at ryan.d@modecdesigns.com
Thank you for reviewing the position, have a good day!

I'll revert my opinion if you manage to successfully publish a product at the quality you're promising.

Yep.. You do not want Bjoern if you want a positive team member, lololol...

Jonah, I think your request for team members was well done. Looking good. I hope all goes well on your teams endeavor and has a good future.
