• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS Creating airport hangar with blender

Hi guys I didn't find any questions about mine, so I starting to develop the airport for mfs20, with a blender! I have created an airport hangar same of my city, so as I'm still a beginner some kinds of structures are missing as the grass on the windows, the airport name, I've seen many hangars with airport names perfect 👌 and I tried to find a video on YouTube how to create that but I didn't find it, so another problem I tried to export it as obj to the adobe photoshop, but some colours are missing. But anyway the what I need is how to starting to create an airport zero to hero with blender any tips , videos ?

So mate is not this kind of videos I'm talking about, but I appreciate it! So I have found into blender my question, but now I have another problem lol, when I make a hangar and export it to the mfs20 and then I build it inside the game, the hangar is coming without windows and doors, I have made it I didn't know why it is disappearing from my hangar, do you know wa could be it ?

Hi, first question: did you use the MSFS material setting as required in blender for all your materials - MSFS Glass for your windows i.e.? How is the preview in your model viewer looking like? Could you provide the blender file here with your textures - so better your modelLib directory as a ZIP? Did you use the blender export format with the required setting when exporting for MSFS. "Texture" in the texture field, generate GUID, and all these setting? We can also better help when we do a one to one communication in discord or teams or any online comm tool. So lets talk...
