• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Cruise Speed resetting to 250kts (Solved. Kind of...)

So I actually joined this forum to get some help with an issue I was having with the cruise speed always resetting to 250kts when trying to change from the default aircraft.cfg in the aircraft editor.

So the fix that has worked for me was downloading "aifp34314(a).zip" which I found on here and replacing aifp3.exe in 34315 with the one from 34314(a).
I could find a way to download 3.4.3.14 as I believe that's what I had been using without any issues until my hard drive failed

If anyone could offer any suggestions to get 3.4.3.15 to work I'd appreciate but for now I think I'm good.

I have it working pretty good really. Anything silly goes on it's my fault.

However as Tom Gibson said in a very earlier quote, use the change eta box to reflect your aircraft's speed.
i.e. if its faster that 250 then take a wee guess at when it should arrive. A quick look on the internet should give you an idea and conversely, if it's slower then give it time.

Hope I'm not too late in helping and you have some hair left!
