• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

isn't season we have seen @0.53 ?
Not easy to answer. This can also be an unprocessed orthophoto that has been taken in the winter. But believe strongly that seasonal variations will be included. Everything else would be a step backwards. Much more interesting for me is the question of whether the Cessna Citation C14 already be included in the package or whether this is an aircraft that you have to buy from a third party (Payware?).

I bet it is included..it makes no sense for them to partner with Textron to have from a third party. Also I read from the interviews of OX19 that all aircraft will be out of the box. and third I have asked them myself on the AVSIM forums to leave the Learjet to rest and add us an Citation and they did listen:rotfl:

Specs seem to be confirmed by a reviewer who was at X019:
The guts have already been leaked and they also freely told me what they were hiding behind the solid black locked boxes.
- RTX 2080 Ti
- 32 GB ram
- Intel i7 but didn’t get the model, I assume a 9700k

For me you can put a pin on VR and Seasons as they pretty much confirmed all the work they are doing on these items during this interview at XO19.
VR @4.50
Seasons : @8.08

Is there anything known about injecting custom-made scenery? I noticed in some of the latest videos that the bottom part of the generated 3d objects - especially trees - look really bad up close. So, is there a way to overwrite some of the scenery?

Interesting. Exactly what I'm running here, along with a bunch of SSDs. That will be the first time ever that I haven't needed to upgrade to run the 'latest' version of FS.

I believe 3rd party airports will be possible. And I hope so because so far they have been omitting to show up close the detail on the 'default' airports. So far the detail looks generic but much better than what FSX came with from the box.

Thanks Roland! I must say, I am starting to get excited. I read about the SDK, back-wards compatibility for aircraft and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan the aerodynamic simulation looks WILD! :yikes:

2020 seems to be the year of Flight Simulation.

Hmm,

This kind of peaked my interest. gITF

Info
here

Lot's of people, companies groups support this format. The demos of the robot and Blender look very interesting. I'd like to hear more on how FS2020 SDK will support a blender export for this format.

3DS MAX exporter too.
