Excludes ...whats going on

#1
Guys I'm using Excbuilder V2 to try a create and exclude to get rid off Autogen trees and buildings, but for some reason it isnt creating a bgl file.

Here's the source code.....

Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<FSData
   version = "9.0"
   xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance'
   xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="bglcomp.xsd" >
   <ExclusionRectangle
        latitudeMinimum = "54.5778700367124"
        latitudeMaximum = "54.5864287593061"
        longitudeMinimum = "-5.69438122630489"
        longitudeMaximum = "-5.68197976747434"
       excludeAllObjects = "TRUE" />
</FSData>
but when I click on 'Save Source & Generate BGL' BGLcomp kicks in but no BGL gets created.

Mm, I seem to remember that I could never get ExcBuilder to work properly, but I still find it very useful to produce the XML code -- I then copy/paste it to another file which can include all the required excludes.

Hi Gary,

You might want to try to compile that XML manually with BGLComp. You can then see any errors it might throw back at you. Without that there is not much to say about your compile problem.

Go into options and select the destination for the BGLCOMP.exe file.

That might work.

The program works well for me although I have to keep on selecting the exe file each time I start the program.

Arno, this is what it threw at me

INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR C1003: Failed to create MSXML object! (0x80040154)

Parsing document: egad_exc.xml

ERROR C2470: Unrecoverable error parsing XML!
ERROR C2006: Parse failed (0x80004005)
ERROR C2003: Failed to process file: egad_exc.xml

being a newbie I have no idea what it means :D
