• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

General questions to Arno

Hi Arno,

I was wondering:
I saw that you are also from Delft and read in one of your post that you were in university. TU Delft I think? What study do you follow?
I also saw some filenames in Gmax, (because you mailed the gamepack folder), are you developing the TU in FS? If so, do you make it only for your self, a stand alone add-on or for NL-2000? Sorry for being so curious :)

Jorrit

Hi Jorrit,

Yes, I am studying at the Delft University of Technology, doing Aerospace Engineering there. I have almost finished graduating now (before the end of the year I should be ready).

Yes, I have also started to model most of the big buildings in the university area. They are supposed for NL2000, but I am a bit too busy to finish them now (and I find making tools more fun then making actual scenery :)). If you look at the latest version of NL2000 you will see some buildings (library, IRI, etc) are already in the scenery.

Ah aerospace engineering, couldn't be something else. Maybe we'll meet in our faculty, as I study aerospace engineering too, for 5 weeks already :p Which master are you following?

Ah, now I noticed the Delft in your location as well :D.

I am doing the Control and Simulation division, graduating the control loading system of the flight simulator (to say it very simple that is the force feedback system).

Who knows I'll see you there once :D.
