FS2004 Gmax can't compile file, but some it can

#1
Can someone please explain to me why I can't export one model from Gmax, while I can export an other one?

I get the can't find makemdl, make sure makemdl is on it, or failed to compile.
Again, I can compile other models fine.

What is the problem here?
It is a FSX model which is going to be remade inside gmax.
it has fs9 materials. and the FSX version compiles just fine.

other models with more vertices compile just fine, so it is not a vertices issue here.

The decimal settings are setup right, and all other things I can think of.
If I have to remake the airport from scratch, then that is a killer blow.
So strange that some models compile just fine, while others don't.

And yea, I use the FS9 version of Gmax.
No problems with the FSX versions of the models inside the FSX version of Gmax.

still new at gmax, so thanks alot :)

Flight Sim Desing truly is different than Gmax, and so crappy in my honest opinion.

Actually, the problem is quite common when working with "command line tools" such as this...

I've simply continued the same practice with filenames that I've used since the Stone Age, back when a "desktop computer" was still nearly the size of an IBM mainframe...

...and all filenames were limited to 8.3 characters! Never leave a blank space in a filename or path has always been my habit. :rotfl:
