Coming soon, it's Grundy Municipal Airport! The airport was built in the 1960s on top of a mountain flattened by coal mining near Grundy and Vansant Virginia. The hangars at the airport have long since fallen into disrepair but the grounds themselves are kept up nicely and the airport is still open and active. The a runway only 2,256 ft long with a sharp drop on both ends, making it well known locally for being a hairy landing experience. This one will surely be a fun destination for GA flyers... jets need not apply!
