• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

we spent some time on a couple of different streetlights:

They will be attached to the bridges, placed around the airport and also used for autogen throughout the city.

Thanks. Most of the modeling is done by @Friedolien while I try to manage the materials.
Our objects are mostly procedurally textured in Blender (newly in cycles) with base textures made in GIMP and then baked into large texture sheets that can be exported.

Hi all, ok here we go. We just got slow progress for a while. Just want you to show some work on the bus terminal. Wanted to show the finished textured one but as you ask if we have something to show...

First one shows the new modelled bus-terminal with textures on the bus-driveway. I just want to show the differents do the old one, so I didnt delete the old one (located on the right side)

And the last one is a close up to the texture on the driveways

Long time since posting here. We both didnt got any time for develope anything. I finished my exams last week and opened the Guayaquil project after.
This was quite fun, cause I like it already and want to go on with this one.
Right. Lets come to something I wanna show. First I want to give you an other overview over the project and its buildings, finished already. Second and third pictures show some new stuff I dealed with in the last days. There are about five "footbridges" over the main streets around the airport. Now all of them are modeled and wait for textures. Quite difficult to model and I am fed up with them :)

Hope we find more time in nearer future to continue. But I want to inform that our projects (including Augsburg) are not dead ;)

Hi - I will have to go there quite often from now for professional reasons, so let me know if I can help with documentation.

Need to say that there is no progress for now. I am working on my final thesis and need to prepare my business after this. So I got no time. But I am also sure that we will jump in here some time, cause I loved what we already did on tis project so far :)
