Anyone out there aware of a way to compile materials with edited mipmaps?
I'd like to have the 2nd highest and and all lower normal detailmaps "flat" so their details smoothly disappear in the distance. After some experimenting I have been able to achieve with by tweaking the textures after building the scenery.
However I would like to find a "SDK compatible" way that will make it possible to edit mipmaps like it has been possible before through imagetool.
Here's an example where this could make sense:
Non edited mipmaps in detail normal:
Manually edited mipmaps in detail normal:
I believe there are numerous other examples where this could make sense.
