• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

How to Add a Stationary Aircraft Carrier in fsx?

Hey all,

After I found out that aicarriers had a trojan in it I need a way to add a carrier at a specific place. I don't care if it moves but I just need one that has working deck cables. anyone know how to add that? (the specific coordinate that I would like to add one is 47.40612719607716, -79.5763417029099 ) and if I could have it as an airport too that would be nice but I don't really need that :)

the trojan is Trojan.Malware.300983.susgen and virus total detected it for any who is wondering
 
A "trojan" in AICarriers is a false positive. It means the antivirus has no experience with software that could possibly perform trojan level activity. Small surprise that Avast, or whomever, has zero experience with a flight sim addon. Where did you download it, ThePirateBay? Because the bigger surprise, is that you would prioritize a report by av software, over the security at Avsim, or whatever reputable flight sim addon site you downloaded it from.

So you can know who you are conversing with, I have uploaded to Avsim several scenery packages that absolutely depend on installing AICarriers, or another placement software, to use them. I am fully confident that AICarriers is good and sound software.

Anyways, find FSX@WAR if you don't like Lamont's software, just be aware that it is newer and consequently less well known than AICarriers.

I'll try FSX@WAR thanks for the suggestion :) I got it from a legit website. flyaway simulations I think
