• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

How to remove incorrect scenery with exclude polygon - look what happens with a water polygon

Is it possible to remove scenery for what I think is from satellite imagery? Refer image below which shows an area in Australia where there is no bridge (which I have created and will add) and the road either side ends at/near the w3aters edge and looks really weird. Is it possible for me to clean this up using exclude polygon(s)?

But LOOK what I discovered while I waited on a reply.
I ADDED a WATER POLYGON around the area where the bridge is in an attempt to remove what appears to be left overs from satellite imagery and voila parts of the original real bridge appeared.
Problem though is that the edges are jagged.
Why would the real bridge be exposed by the addition of a water polygon? Is there a method to remove those jagged edges and the strange looking water texture near the sides of the bridge?

Usually you solve jagged terrain issue with falloff, but water polys don't have them

I would add another polygon on top with building exclude TIN and higher priority (because that bridge comes from Photogrammetry and you a have a Better bridge)
