• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Not quite so easy. Are you saying that you want to move the library objects from the different bgl files into one or two files?

If so question is why? If it relates to your personal use that is one thing perhaps but it you planned to distribute then it would not be a good way to do things. Also there is a question of copyright if you were to move library objects from a library and put them somewhere else.

Hi,

I am not familiar with EZ-Scenery directly, but I would suspect that you can place multiple objects in the same file. There is no need to have them each in their own BGL file.

But as I don't know the user interface of EZ-Scenery I can't tell you how :).

When I use Ez-scenery, I take an object from the library (or addon library) and I place it on my airport and I need to save a BGL every time I place one of them so now I have 245 bgl files on my scenery folder and I would like to group them because it would be easier for me to work with other bgls..

No - you can place multiple objects in a single bgl file. There is no need to create one for each object.

How to do :O When I click Add in make me save each files...

I have not used EZ-Scenery in a very long time but I am certain that you do not need to do it that way. The information about how it works will be in the manual or help file?

No infos about that... anyway, using BGLtoXML I've managed to get them in a single file, but it's ver long to merge 200 xml in one so... I'll let them as they are

thks for your help guys ;)

I using the later version of EZS, Instant Scenery, developed by the same person. So for EZS I'm stretching way back in the memory banks, but when you first start it will prompt to save and allow you to enter a file name. Subsequent changes can be saved back to the same file. Closing and restarting FS9 EZS will allow you to go back and reopen that scenery file for further placements.

ok :O now that's clear I tought it was overwriting every time I was saving

thks guys ;)
