• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Are you someone with experience in developing freeware or payware aircraft for FSX, Prepar3D or other sims? Have you ever wanted to turn your hobby into a career?
Do you want to earn as you develop and be a part of a passionate and dedicated team of flight simulation enthusiasts, whilst retaining flexibility (working hours, location etc)?
Just Flight are in an exciting period of expansion into other sims and platforms (FSW, XP11, AF2 etc), whilst also remaining committed to providing market-leading offerings for the FSX/Prepar3D platforms.
We are currently looking for experienced coders to assist us with aircraft development, from GA to airliners, in either a full or part-time capacity.
Experience in C++ gauge programming is preferable, although experience with comparable languages will be considered. Experience with GDI, DirectX, Lua or the PDK would be beneficial.
If this sounds interesting to you then please contact us for more information via Rich@justflight.com

Thank you to everyone that is got in touch so far.

We are continuing to increase our development activities for a variety of simulators (see above) and are therefore still keen to hear from any experienced coders who’d be interested in turning their hobby into a career. We have a variety of projects at differing levels of complexity so please get in touch even if you are not experienced with GDI, DirectX etc.

As part of our expansion, we are also keen to hear from any 3D modellers/artists with 3DS Max and FSX/P3D or XP11 SDK knowledge, and experience in developing aircraft or scenery for either of those platforms.

As noted above, we are able to accommodate part-time, full-time and remote working, and freelancers or existing teams, with the ability to retain your own brand.

Over the past year we have continued to expand our development team to meet the exciting new opportunities presented by P3D v4, XP11 and Aerofly FS2. We already have a wide variety of aircraft (from the humble Tomahawk to the mighty 747), scenery and utilities planned for 2019 and would still like to hear from coders who’d be interested in contributing to these projects in a part-time or full-time capacity. We have a very diverse and widely dispersed team and can tailor the work to fit around any existing commitments or projects, whilst offering the security and convenience of regular payment rather than a profit share only after release.

We would also be interested to hear from anyone involved in creating FDEs, liveries or sounds, as we have ample work in all areas of the development process

We've had another busy year of growth at Just Flight, releasing over 20 new products across FSX/P3D, XP11 and Aerofly FS2. We have lots of exciting new projects in the pipeline for 2020 and are excited about the opportunities offered by FS2020.

Our excellent development team also continues to grow as we begin to work on larger projects like Traffic Global, 747 Classic and the Fokker F28. We've welcomed several new developers onboard this year and would love to hear from anyone else that'd be interested in part or fulltime work. As mentioned above we are able to offer flexibility, and even more importantly in this industry, a regular and secure income.

We are interested to hear from anyone involved in the development of aircraft, utilities or scenery, and particularly from experienced coders.
