• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

It's an old site I don't check often. I have alerted the tech guys and they are on a server reset. Not sure how long it takes. You can try to PM me and I can send a file transfer link to you. I usually use wetransfer.

Will try to remember to look at messages. Had nice plans to carry on development of KBUR, but my licence lapsed. For my actual simming I have wandered off to shoot thing in DCS, while we wait and see what P3D may do about MS2020, or what MS2020 is even like.

My website it is hosted on is having issues. I am away for 2 weeks. You can pm me for a file transfer link when I return if the link has not gone live before then.

hosting company assure me the support ticket has been elevated, but I doubt it will happen before I return And chase them.

Nice to see people still interested in it.

Your scenery is a really, really good freeware :)
Maybe update your first post's pictures so people see how good it has become. Would probably make even more people download it :D

You are most welcome, and always good to hear people enjoy using it. You do wonder if your efforts are worth it.

I don't have V4 anymore. Switched to V5. Not actually tried it in V5 (I think flattens don't work). When the nights get darker I may give it a whirl, and who knows, maybe even tackle a sloped runway. KBUR does slope distinctly, especially North to South.

If you place it at 780ft it will sit up on a big plateau. IRL only one tiny little spot of the airport is at 780ft for a reference. They pick a centre spot and go for that. Runway thresholds will be different altitudes. 730ft is a compromise for better modelling.

V5 has sloped runways so all these airport elevation issues can be sorted, but I need to remodel it for V5. No time yet.

I just want to tell you that I enjoy your KBUR scenery a lot.
This is my home airport. I fly to Las Vegas back and forth (well, before the pandemic) and through Southwest Virtual Airlines.
I saw in your previous post that you are working on some extra buildings? It would be really cool if you could include the Fry's Electronics at the end of runway 15.
