I have been busy with RW stuff for a few years so a lot of the times new tech is what I struggle with (dynamic lighting, PBR, SODE, etal). I have to learn all of it again to keep up with scenery design.
The things that take time are seasonal ground, autogen placement, cleaning up ground textures and vehicle ramps. I still have to put in lighting towers and have never really worked with dynamic lighting. I have learnt SODE now although I am debating to maybe just leave default jetways because most users use GSX now.
Are you able to do dynamic lighting for ramp/field lighting?I know the feeling trust me. I took a year off from scenery design and came back to dynamic lighting and object placements for taxiway lights. If there's anything I could help with I'd love to assist. Taxiway Signs/Lights and real world photos since I work at FLL and could get any pictures you'd like to use in IND.
I really wish I could help with the lighting because I find myself doing the same thing on my end. There is a FX tool that comes with the SDK which you can use in real time inside the sim but have not tinkered with it yet.I am in the middle of a detour. Learning new techniques to keep myself up to date.
