• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

What sources did you use to create a reference background image in GMax? For example, for US airports they use USGS...just asking.:)

This is how it looks in FSX. Still find no way to add three animated jetways. I think I'll make static one and let AES does the job.

Friday again. It is "Wan Suk" in Thai. Wan=day Suk=Happiness (sound like but not written the same). So let's all have happiness on the weekend.
I will update my project every Friday.

Detail of lines on apron, more service vehicles to be added on those parking.

Detail on the road junction.

Gate C4 and labels on the ground.

The garden in the middle of satellite terminal.

Satellite terminal has 3 connected tunnels.

A380 gate with all the lines and labels on the ground.

Great!

hi, I'm new in this forum. after seeing your work, I was very impressed! I can see your hard work in completing this project. Great job!

I'm done with all the lines at Satellite Terminal. I'll move to LCCT next week.
I did some night texture already.

Love the night textures! :D Great job Tic, can't wait for the project to be completed.

Btw, I was wondering if you know the solar panels they are installing on the roof of the satellite terminal?

I am well aware of those solar panels and I think I will not put them in the scenery. To be honest, I think they look ugly, not well organized and ruin all the beauty of the terminal. They should have put those somewhere else as a solar farm or something.

OMG, it has been a month since last update. I'm a snail working on this.
Here are some more update pictures. I'm working on LCCT, Low Cost Carrier Terminal but I have no time to put to FSX yet. All these pics are in 3dsmax.
It is not easy since I have never been to this terminal and there are a lot of detail. I need to collect all the photos and reconstructed in the head since the buildings are complex, comprise a lot of buidings together. Please feel free to comment and tell me if anything wrong or not right.

I've been to LCCT terminal few times and to be honest I never get it on its design too ! It's close to a big bus station than an airport...
