Hi,
There seems to be a limitation on the size of a 2D panel. Is this real, can it be fixed? FS9 did not have it... Since I've been messing about with FSX on my 'more appropriatly' sized 1920x1080 panel, I thought I'd see if I could get my 'personal edition' to work on my 5120x1600 display in FSX. Foolish to think it wouldn't bring headaches!!!
I have a 2D panel that stretches over two screens - it is 'natively' 5120x1600, ie the gauges are sized for that. In FS9, it works just fine, but now in FSX it does not work - all the wide elements of the panel result in a black space where the forward panel should be and a flashing mouse cursor
WideViewAspect=False/True makes no difference.
I understand that if you take a natively smaller panel and stretch it, you could expect problems. However, this is natively that resolution so I don't understand why it should be limited!
I guess I have to set this up as two sections and the 'window side views' that took me ages to implement will need doing too. Sigh!
Geoff
