P3D v4 Making a SODE jetway out of a static model

Good evening,

I downloaded a freeware scenery for Turin (LIMF). The jetways are static, but look pretty good. Using MCX and Sketch Up, I’m pretty sure I can isolate the jetway from the model of the terminal and make a separate model out of it. Is it possible to make a SODE jetway out of this?

The other option is selecting one of the GSX options, but they don’t always line up as well, nor look as good.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I believe you can only use 3dsmax for sode jetway scripts. Not Sketchup or blender
