Since I made the model in Blender 2-9x I’ll post in this thread however this may be a Blender2msfs exporter issue and perhaps 3ven Quixel, though I doubt it.
i baked a multicolored albedo in Blender for import into Quixel and subsequent material painting. I exported the albedo, the normal and the RGB maps and plugged them into the model within Blender using blender2msfs plugin. I then exported this model and installed in the package. Now when in the SDK and I attempted to load the model the albedo color was not there but rather the colors from the material ID baie. The normal texture and the rgb were there as expected just that the model was colored wrong. This is not the only model I have done, the other two exported just fine.
The only thing different here is that I decimated the model (copy) to make simpler output. the albedo wraps great in Blender.
so my question WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT is going on? Could it be vertex colors somehow? I have no clue about this.
