MSFS Missing ILS frequency in added airports

Having added an airport to MSFS by reference to the helpful documents on this forum I have noticed that any added airport or added nav data will result in no ILS frequency appearing or being available in the planes MCDU or FMC etc. I am wondering if there is something we are missing in the SDK to add this or if this may be hard coded?
Any ideas?

Yes. we must add ILS data manually now.

haha Sorry. I don't know. Current SDK have some example files with no descriptions...
Did you add all ILS Data for your airport?? I spent a lot of time catching the ILS error. The location of the ILS data code caused an error.

Yes, I managed to add the ILS data from using ADE for FSX and decompling the XML for the airport to obtain the frequency and format and then managed to paste this in the correct place for compiling in the XML for MSFS2020. It took me a while to get the correct location though.

I misunderstood the problem.
but I can see my ILS Freq in Citation Longitude using my FMS.

Yes thats correct, it was complicated by the fact I hadn't added the Vasi's but sorted in the end

Do I understand correctly that you guys managed to "automatically" get it to show up on the MCDU?
Right now my ILS is working, but I need to manually, during flight, add 109.75 to the MCDU to actually get the frequency set up.

Hi there, no afraid not. This is getting the ILS to work on a custom airport. Once you build a new one you have to manually enter the frequency into the MCDU. I actually tried the Navigraph beta and this also removes the automatically entered ILS.
I asked elsewhere on this forum if anybody knows how to restore this but nobody has replied yet.

Ok, that's good news, cause I spent a lot of work trying to get the automatic entered ILS to work.
Happy to hear its not just me

Im trying also to setup The ils but i dont have fsx, so i cant get the ils info from ade

It looks like yesterdays patch fixed the ILS frequency!
Today I started a flight and didn't have to add the frequency myself

Hey i cant seem to get it to work for me the game crashes when i select ils in the main menu. Is it possible that you send that file? Or post a pastebin link?
